Returns & Exchanges

Shorty’s goal is for you to be a satisfied customer now and for many years to come. If you are not satisfied with the merchandise purchased and want to return it, a decision has to be made by the General Manager on a case by case basis. If the return is accepted, it will only be returned in exchange for reselection or store credit only! To receive full credit for reselection or store credit, all returned merchandise has to be in the same condition as when purchased, complete with all accessories, pillows, original box, instructions, remotes and box.

Merchandise not meeting these requirements may not be accepted for return, or may be assessed a restocking charge of 30%. Delivery charges are non-refundable. If you want Shorty to pick up the item you have and deliver your reselection, both actions can be done with only one additional $99 delivery charge within the city of El Paso.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation before delivery non order

If you have not received your non order merchandise, you may cancel all or part of your order without a charge or fee by calling 915-593-5200 at least 24 hours before delivery.

Cancellation before delivery special order

If the merchandise you purchased was a special order (an item that Shorty normally does NOT stock) you will need to let us know you wish to cancel your order within 24 hours of the time of original order. If you do not cancel the sale within 24 hours of the special order, only 70% of the purchase price will be refunded to you. If you change your mind and wish to cancel an order within 24 hours, Shorty will be able to confirm cancellation without penalty.

Online Orders and Availability

After you decided to order with us online we will receive your order per email. It will be reviewed and placed if payed in full (if you decide our layaway option please read the layaway instructions). You will receive an email, to the email account you provided, including an invoice with all your information and items as well as the payment confirmation (PLEASE REVIEW AND CONFIRM THE CORRECTNESS). It will also include manufacture lead times on items we don’t have in stock at the moment (lead times can be anywhere between 1 week up to 6 weeks depending on manufacture availability)

Delivery and pick up

Shorty offers in-house delivery within the city of El Paso for only $99, regardless if it is for one piece or a whole houseful. Shorty’s delivery crews are some of the best in the business and do a great job Monday through Saturday. Generally, we deliver between 9AM and 6 PM. We will call you the day before the delivery day to confirm your scheduled delivery. Since our trucks are routed by geographic area we cannot offer time-scheduled deliveries, but we will try to work as much as possible with your requests.

Shorty’s delivery crew does NOT remove your old furniture, your room has to be empty and clean prior the delivery to guarantee a fast, professional, and smooth delivery service.

A $99 charge will be made for each delivery, even if no one is home to accept the scheduled delivery.

Damage:

If your merchandise is damaged upon delivery, Shorty will repair or replace your selection to your satisfaction. Shorty may attempt to repair the item to your satisfaction before a replacement model is provided.

In the unlikely event any damage to your property should occur by Shorty’s delivery crew, please report the damage to one of our managers the same day it occurs.

Customer Pickup:

Pickups may be made at Shorty’s warehouse Monday through Saturday from 10 AM until 6:30 PM, and Sunday from 12 AM until 4:30 PM. An inspection of your merchandise has to take place and will be assisted.  Shorty will also assist, but is not responsible for securing your purchased item on your vehicle. Shorty does not supply pads or ties but will provide twine to help you secure your selection. Shorty does not assume responsibility for merchandise damaged or lost while you transport it.

Some items may need assembly before you use them. Normally all items that are picked up are left in their original packing and will therefore need light assembly. If you wish for Shorty to assemble your merchandise for you, we will need a 24 hours’ notice. Normally, there is a small charge for this assembly service, but if we deliver your merchandise the assembly is included!
